Testimonials from our customers.
Bimrose Lubricants have now been used in
motor cars, trucks and machinery applications for the past
13 years. Over that time there have been many interesting
stories, most from happy users who have eliminated wear
from their cars, trucks and all other machinery. Of
course there have been some instances where BIMROSE LUBRICANTS
were introduced to the machine too late, after the damage
was already done and the results were not ideal. In
this world of fast pace, instant meals and too many unhappy
endings, we salute those who took a few minutes from their
busy day to write us a letter and let us know how we are going.
Thank you all! The letters here are only a very small
sample of those received over the years, so if you have a
story you think we should hear, good or bad, drop us a line
and let us know about it.

New superslip makes Commodore fly!
To Tom
I just put some of your superslip into
my commodore v6 ute which has 95,000 km on it, of which only
5,000 km has been on Bimrose Multigrade Super. This car has
been on dual fuel up to this time but was so slow on gas I
took it off and it went better so I put some fuel additive
in the fuel and this improved it again but I still wasn't
happy with its lack of get up and go. When I added the superslip
I wedged the throttle open on 1600 rpm and added the oil and
about 30 seconds later the engine increased to 2000 rpm. When
I drove it home I found it now goes like it should. It actually
flies!

Mr. J. J. acheives excellent results with his Toyota
Diesel
I thought that I would drop you a line
to advise you how pleased I am with the overall performance
of the range of Bimrose products that I have used and the
technical advice that I have received from Head Office.
As an aircraft engineer I have a fine
appreciation for machinery that operates smoothly and efficiently
and the important part that a good lubricant contributes to
the long term performance, reliability and efficiency of machinery.
After hearing and reading good reports
about Bimrose Lubricants quite a few years ago, I decided
to use these products in my private vehicles to see if they
were what I had heard. I found out that they were very good.
Several years ago I purchased a 1994
Landcruiser trayback to use as a work truck and also to use
for camping, hunting and fishing trips. This vehicle had 130,000
km on the speedo when I purchased it and one of the first
things I did upon receiving it was to drain whatever brand
name oil from all the running gear and engine and then refill
with Bimrose products and to also begin to use Bimrose Upper
Cylinder Lubricant in it. This I have never failed to do since.
I honestly believe that my vehicle
runs more smoothly and less effortlessly as a result.
Although I took some convincing at
first, I began to run the oil in my engine for longer than
5,000 km as the company had guaranteed that the oil was good
for twice that of normal oil. I did notice however, that I
began to use some oil once that oil had done around 7,500
km. The oil in my engine was Bimrose Multigrade Super.
After contacting Tom Bimrose on the
internet and advising him of my usage rate, driving habits
etc., he advised me to change over to turbo diesel new generation
oil as he suspected that as my engine was not working hard
enough, long enough, and was not getting hot enough each day
with the result that the cylinder bores were glazing up.
I followed his advice and I am very
happy to report that my engine continues to operate extremely
well and I have not had to add a drop of oil between oil changes
since.
I have sung the praises of Bimrose
Lubricants to all my friends and acquaintances since I have
been using these products and now after witnessing at first
hand the results of sound advice, I am even further convinced
that I am on a winner.
Yours faithfully
J. J.
Peugeot 604 V6 overheated but no obvious
damage to motor.
I am the
proud owner of a V/6 604 Peugeot, which has an all aluminium
motor. While travelling from Maryborough to Coffs Harbour,
I noticed the temperature gauge reading higher than normal
as I passed the Caloundra turn off. As it was not in the red,
I continued to Brisbane because the car was running beautifully.
On arrival
in Brisbane I found the water level was below the water pump,
the hose from the pump to the recovery tank had broken, the
thermostat housing was dry, and the reason the gauge did not
go higher. It can not work without water and all I had to
do was replace the hose and fill the radiator, as there was
no apparent damage to the motor.
Several
months later I experienced similar trouble at Ballina on our
way to Newcastle. The temp gauge rose into the red and we
could not stop because there was sugar cane right up to the
road on one side and a river on the other side, which meant
we had to drive for miles and miles until I came to a farm
house.
Upon stopping
I found the radiator was boiling because the fan pulley had
broken, this meant we had to drive 15 k's to Broadwater where
I had the pulley repaired and the cylinder heads retensioned.
I am using
BIMROSE DIESEL BLUE 15W40 which has saved my engine twice,
without the usual signs of an overheated alloy motor which
is still running better than ever.

1958 FE Holden badly overheated but still
runs perfectly after 18 months.
Mr ELLIOT
was driving his 1958 FE Holden fitted with an expensively
worked 202 motor, home from HERVEY BAY to MARYBOROUGH, when
a radiator hose broke allowing the water to boil. When he
reached home 20 k's later and tried to switch off the motor
it Pre-ignited and the motor ran backwards.
After the
motor cooled he fitted a new radiator hose, filled the radiator
and started the motor, which 18 months later still runs perfectly,
uses no oil and he feels is running better than ever, by using
BIMROSE
ALL SEASONS SUPER.

Oil consumption improved in Torana using
All Seasons Super.
Mr WELLER
OWNS A 1978 4 CYLINDER TORANA, which he uses around Maryborough
with an occasional trip to Brisbane.
It used
to use oil and ran between Normal and Hot with average fuel
consumption, but since changing to BIMROSE All Seasons Super
the car has not required any top up oil, the motor runs between
Cold and Normal, it uses less fuel and now overtakes with
ease.
The car
now runs much smoother, rev's better, picks up better and
is simply much easier to drive. Thank you BIMROSE LUBRICANTS
and keep up the good work.

Skyline Soars after changing to Multigrade
Super
The owner
of a NISSAN SKYLINE GT reports that since changing to BIMROSE
LUBRICANTS MULTI-GRADE SUPER 15W50, his trip computer tells
him that his fuel consumption is improving with each oil change.
The car
had covered 370,000 ks and the oil increased the pulling power
especially when towing a caravan, The fuel consumption improved
from 10.3 litres per 100 kilometres, to 9.3 litres per 100
kilometres according to his trip computer.

Old Corolla gives up smoking
A man
in Maryborough had an old Toyota Corolla that he had parked
because it was blowing too much smoke, using too much oil
and boiling on a round trip of only 50 kilometres.
After hearing
about and seeing the results of using Bimrose oils, he gave
it an oil change using our Rejive 40w70. He now drives the
car daily doing about 100ks/day without using oil, blowing
smoke, or boiling. The previous tappet noise is barely audible.

Noisy Colt tamed with Rejive 40w70
A lady
with a Mitsubishi Colt was told by her mechanic that if she
continued driving from Caboolture to Brisbane for her work
{nursing}, with the noises her car was making at 80ks, it
would not last long because everything that moves was worn
out. Aware of the cost of a new motor her father advised her
to try our Rejive 40w70. She is now able to drive from Caboolture
to Grafton and Maryborough at 100ks/hour.

Classic Benz was running out of puff.
A gentleman
in Hervey Bay is the envious owner of a 1968 6.3 litre V/8
Mercedes Benz. It was experiencing the usual problems with
older vehicles that do mostly short runs, with an occasional
long run. It was blowing smoke and had low oil pressure.
After changing
to BIMROSE ALL SEASONS SUPER 25W60 he now finds the cars performance
is good at all times, his oil pressure is up by 15 lbs/sg/inch
and does not drop when travelling distances, and the car is
much better to drive both hot and cold.

Murgon sprint driver outclasses competition
under adverse conditions.
A man
from Murgon who owns a 2 Litre Ford Escort RS 2000 sprint
car, putting out 135 HP and being driven between 4000 and
6000 revs per minute, has found since changing to Bimrose
Rally 50 he can now drive his car much harder through comers,
and at much higher revs{7000}. When the competition is slowing
down due to heat and often overheating {as his used to}, his
car is improving in performance.
This is
what is helping him to win so many races, his camshaft is
not showing the usual signs of wear, and to his amazement
his oil does not get hot any more. He is now winning trophies
in the open class as well as in his own class.

Oil guzzling Bedford given a fill of First
Fill 30
A Maryborough
cane farming family bought a 1970 6 Ton Bedford diesel tip
truck, with the intention of moving many tons of dirt that
had been dug up by their excavator.
When they
started using the Bedford it used so much oil, (the smoke
was terrible) they considered it was not economical, even
though the motor sounded mechanically OK.
Having
had the pleasure of using BIMROSE LUBRICANTS previously with
excellent results, they decided to try our First Fill 30 which
is designed to de-glaze, glazed cylinders, or to allow new
rings and liners to wear themselves "in", without
damaging any other engine components. The results speak for
themselves.
Very little
smoke and oil consumption doing light work and NO smoke or
oil consumption doing heavy work.

Holden Torana drops pressure on brand name
oil.
The same
family have a son who owns a very fast high performance Holden
Torana Hatchback. It is a 1975 400 cubic inch V/P with high
volume fuel and oil pumps.
He was
using a well known common oil and one day his oil pressure
dropped suddenly, and the water temperature rose very quickly.
He immediately
changed the oil thinking the oil had lost its viscosity.
After only
a short period the Torana developed the same symptoms and
they changed to BIMROSE ALL SEASONS SUPER 25W60. This caused
the oil pressure to rise , but not quite as high as he required
so he changed to BIMROSE RALLY 50 and the pressure rose even
higher but still slightly below the desired level , and the
temperature dropped significantly.
Still not
satisfied that all was well the motor was dismantled and revealed
a broken oil pick up pipe which was partially blocking the
hole into the oil pump, and the oil pump gears were damaged
but they were very impressed by the way the oil was clinging
to the pistons and cylinders.
The car
now has normal (high) oil pressure and as he is now using
BIMROSE UPPER CYLINDER LUBRICANT , the performance has improved
accordingly.

Resort owner saves hundreds of dollars per
year by changing to Bimrose Lubricants
The management
of the COW BAY RESORT in the DAINTREE rain forest has just
changed to BIMROSE LUBRICANTS in their generators, and is
very happy with the results.
They used
to change the oil every 10 days and the oil would be black,
had no viscosity or stickiness left, was very hot, and left
large amounts of carbon [black sediment] on your hands.
After 10
days the Bimrose oil still felt sticky, was clear on the dipstick,
was not hot if you let it drop off the dipstick onto your
hand, so the filter was changed and the oil did another 10
days.
After 20
days the oil still felt good, you could still see the dipstick
through the oil, the oil was still cool when dripped onto
your hand off the dip stick and there was no oil consumption.
This will probably mean that the remaining life of the gen
sets will be trebled at least, the oil cost has been halved,
the services have been halved, the pollution reduced significantly,
and the owner knows that it will take a mechanical failure
to stop this from continuing.

1987 Falcon swoops in for massive cost saving.
Morgans
Refrigerator Door Seals own a 1987 XF Falcon wagon that they
bought at 40,000 and used Valvoline till 80,000 when they
were introduced to TOM BIMROSE and his large range of Specialised
Lubricants.
The car
used a little oil between changes so they changed to BIMROSE
All Seasons Super 25w60. They changed the oil every 5,000
k's as previously, only this time the oil was still clear,
still had a strong sticky oil film but was cool to touch,
instead of being very hot, so they extended the changes to
10,000 and then to 20,000 k's. They now change the oil twice
a year at approximately 25,000. The Ford has now done
305,000,and the engine never needs oil between changes and
sounds good and quiet.

Last chance trial becomes permanent solution.
A lawn-mowing
contractor owns a 2-Ton Diahatsu truck, which works hard pulling
a Kubota Tractor and mowing gear on a large trailer.
One day
those boys in blue pulled him up and issued him with a defective
vehicle notice, because of the excessive smoke, and the fact
that the whole rear of the truck was covered with oil, The
owner came to Morgans who had become distributors of BIMROSE
LUBRICANTS, to see if this so called "good' 'oil would
improve his truck enough to keep him working.
Morgans
listened to his story and suggested he try Bimrose Multigrade
Super 15w50 to help the oil consumption from the bottom, and
Upper Cylinder Lubricant to tackle the problem from the top
After only about 300k's the engine has a lot more power up
a certain hill, on which he used to change down 2 gears, it
does not blow smoke and the oil consumption is almost nil.
He is now
a very happy Bimrose user having saved an engine overhaul
and does not attract Police attention any more.

Oily Chev cleans up its act
Another
customer has a C20 CHEV, which used 5 litres of oil every
5,000 k's, only 70,000k's after an overhaul, and as he going
on a trip to Melbourne, was very concerned about the oil consumption
and cost.
Morgans
sold him 2x5litres of 40w70 Rejive, one for the oil change
and one for top upon the trip. On his return he asked about
oil for a VN Commodore, because the Chev had used less than
one (1) litre of the Rejive on the whole trip to Melbourne
and back, which meant that the second bottle was still sealed.

ATF oil comes out clean
Morgans
own a school bus fitted with an Allison AT 540 4 speed automatic
transmission, which does the run from Gin Gin to Bundaberg
daily. In 1995 we changed the gear box oil and put in BIMROSE
ATF DEXRON III. Two a half years later we sent it in for a
service to be told that it was still as clean as new and did
not require changing. So this year we sent it to the same
workshop for a transmission service, This time they dropped
the oil and the mechanic asked if it had just been overhauled,
as it was so clean and in such good condition, it was hard
to believe it had been doing a school bus run for five years,
without even having an oil change. This proves that we are
justified in recommending BIMROSE LUBRICANTS as the very best
available. Because our customers are getting the same results
we are, all the feed back is good feed back and justifies
our pride in being a
DISTRIBUTOR
of BIMROSE LUBRICANTS.

Lazy Laser comes back to life, and saves
three ways!
I have
a 1985 Laser that has a total of 410,000K on the clock.
The motor was overhauled in 1997 after a burst radiator hose.
From this time it had used around 1 litre of oil for every
2,000K and had not improved with over 130,000K of travel.
I then decided to try BIMROSE engine oil and BIMROSE upper
cylinder lubricant. I was initially hesitant because
I felt that the Penrite oil I was using was one of the best
money can buy. I am pleased to report that the oil usage has
dropped to less than 0.5L per 5,000K. The fuel consumption
appears to have dropped by around 1 litre per 100K.
I say appears because I am not sure I believe this myself,
but it seems to be the case every time I fill the tank.
Power also seems to be improved with better acceleration when
overtaking, and a freer revving engine. I would urge
any person who is not currently using BIMROSE LUBRICANTS,
to at least call and ask about changing over their machinery
or cars. Remember, the oil companies will not tell you
about a product like this. Their business is to sell
you more oil! BIMROSE oil save me three ways. Less oil
consumption, longer oil change interval, and my car uses les
fuel.

D9
Consumption Drops Dramatically
Regarding
Caterpillar D9 using Bimrose Upper Cylinder Lubricant and
T04/40 Transmission Oil.
We required
an Upper Cylinder Lubricant that was not abrasive, that would
not increase combustion temperature, that would lubricate
the complete fuel system (lift & injectore pumps), while
cleaning the system as it did its job of improving combustion
efficiency and (hopefully) reducing fuel consumption.
Boy were
we pleasantly surprised when the fuel consumption dropped
from 61 litres per hour to only 42 litres per hour on the
same day, with hte same driver, same paddock, same earthworks.
The transmission had a slight whine in reverse without load
and had done only 600 hours since being rebuilt. Because Bimrose
Lubricants have such a high film strength we decided to try
some T04/40. We drained the transmission in the middle of
the day after working all morning, we then refilled the trans
and after 1.5 hours work the noise had completely gone, the
whole transmission was noticeably quieter, smoother &
cooler doing exactly the same work. I was extremely impressed
with hte result of using both thes Bimrose product.
Case 2870
4WD 300HP tractor with an 11 litre Scania motor.
Just by
using the Upper Cylinder Lubricant alone, the pyrometer now
runs at 700 where as it used to run at 900 a drop of 200 degrees,
doing exactly the same work as with the D9.

Changed

the oil could make such a difference.
