UPPER CYLINDER LUBRICANT AND FUEL TREATMENT The ratio of Fuel Treatment to fuel is 1:2000. A simpler way to work the amount of Fuel Treatment you need is to divide the number of litres (to be treated) by 2 and add that number of millilitres. Example: if the amount of fuel is 40 litres then you would add 20 millilitres of Fuel Treatment (40/2 = 20 millilitres). To increase the amount of Fuel Treatment in the chamber measure, loosen chamber lid and squeeze the bottle carefully. To decrease the amount in the chamber, loosen the lid opposite the chamber lid and gently squeeze out the air in the bottle until the Fuel Treatment rises to the top of the bottle. Tighten lid, thereby creating a vacuum. Loosen chamber lid and carefully tilt the bottle so the Fuel Treatment runs back into the bottle giving you the measure you want. USING UPPER CYLINDER LUBE AND FUEL TREATMENT TO ASSIST IN OIL DRAINAGE Run the motor to the Oil Operating Temperature. Add 2% (or 20ml per litre) of the sump capacity to the engine oil. Run the motor without load for 5 to 10 minutes then drain immediately and leave drain for as long as possible to remove as much as possible of the used lubricant. The best time to do this would probably be upon the vehicle's return form a trip as everything is normalised at operating temperature and will therefore release any foreign matter present. It would be beneficial to repeat this procedure after the first oil change on Bimrose Lubricant to complete the process.
